Europe is facing an energy crisis, which has led to a continuous increase in electricity prices. This has prompted European countries to actively develop renewable energy sources. Germany, as the world’s fourth-largest economy and an industrial powerhouse in Europe, is accelerating its transition towards renewable energy.

In 2022, Germany added 7.19 GW of solar capacity, maintaining its position as the largest solar installation market in Europe for several consecutive years. This is according to the Federal Network Agency of Germany (Bundesnetzagentur). Furthermore, according to the “EU Market Outlook For Solar Power 2022-2026″ published by SolarPower Europe, Germany’s cumulative solar installations are projected to increase from 68.5 GW to 131 GW by 2026. This indicates immense market potential in the solar sector.
